What to Expect

You Matter

At Lakeshore Dental Associates we have a warm and friendly atmosphere. With our small office feel you won’t feel you’re getting lost or that we are too busy or too big.

No matter what we add to our practice in the way of technology or staff, we’ll never get away from providing individualized attention. We value our ability to spend ample time with each patient and to get to know them well.

Things You Should Know

We generally run on time, so you shouldn’t expect to need to wait if you are on time. Patients typically wait less than 15 minutes at any given appointment.

We do our best to get to know each patient. You can expect that we’ll:

  • ask about your work and personal life
  • take a thorough medical and dental history
  • ask about all the prescribed medications you are taking (please bring a list)
  • take a complete set of x-rays
  • perform a comprehensive exam
  • do our best to learn what you’re looking for
  • present treatment options we think will help

Putting You At Ease

We hope to minimize your fears, because we understand that dentistry can be intimidating for some. We are aware that many of you come to us having had bad experiences previously.

By maintaining your comfort level is a top priority. We accomplish this by talking you throughout your procedure, evaluating your body language and giving you the opportunity to stop or take breaks at any time, as necessary.

Have Insurance or Finance Concerns?

We work with nearly every dental insurance company. We also offer complimentary benefits checks for every new and existing patient.

With our insurance benefit checks we will help you to know up front exactly what your out of pocket costs will be. If you need complex or ongoing dentistry and have a treatment plan, we’ll go over things with you personally and in detail to ensure you understand the entire process and what your insurance will pay over the course of treatment.

We offer CareCredit financing and can discuss payment plan options in complex cases.
